Positive program even if it does not have an effect. Shows a reduction in violence, property, and drug use (drug use is less a reduction in arrests importance because of the possible legalization of marijuana) He established this board as a permanent board to reduce youth crime, delays during arrests and conviction, reduce incarceration and recidivism. Brought together key agencies, for youth, families, schools, police etc. That board identified the 72 areas that were the worse, in each of those had $ to put yip into place. They evaluated the outcomes from each of these programs. Comparison with what was going on before and what happened with the program. & looked at the crime rates in the areas. Repeated the program more than once because it was successful. Since there was a permanent board they continued to get $ and was able to double the funding example of what ontario could have.
