However, we are not good at the treatment. Sentencing is something we all always have a comment or reaction on. 3 sentencing scenarios taken from real cases reported this year in the local news: A former town councillor sentenced to 5 years in the death of her husband. She had been on trial for first-degree. Crown prosecutors accused her of administering a lethal cocktail of drugs. What the verdict was/or the conviction: sentencing is done by the judge, jury can only make a recommendation (murder trial, when we know the conviction we can find out what the maximum or minimum mandatory sentence is. * you should assume there is always a plea bargain.
