Argues that the way forward is in the hands of the workers. Makes the differentiation between how unions (guilds) operate as she sees them and how she thinks a real unity should be. Acknowledges guilds that represent workers, and meet their basic needs to make ends meet. Lovely and very much needed bandaid to the wound of workers (everyone is suffering mental and health issues due to working conditions) They do not address the root cause of the problem: division. Cause of the problem is that people do not stand together as one voice. Argues that the middle class can never represent workers since they have never lived their struggle. She spoke directly to factories and factory workers and not the professional class.
