I never knew the terms educator and teacher meant two different things. Teachers vs. educators, i want to be an educator. Jackson is the educator that was the most influential in my life. If mrs. jackson were asked to pick a quote that described herself as a teacher she would choose, i see myself as a mother hen, caring for her chicks, keeping them safe while encouraging their growth (krogh, fielstein, Mrs. jackson"s style was to be personally involved in her students" lives, along with her student-centered philosophy she always said the best part of teaching for her was witnessing the students" progress and success in life. Whereas an educator is one of those people who goes farther than what is expected (sackstein, 2016). Mrs. jackson always went above and beyond for her students. She was not only an educator but a mentor and a friend.
