The objective of this experiment was to understand the fundamental concepts of a capacitor in the ac circuit. The goal of this lab is to introduce the oscilloscope and the function generator, the oscilloscope is a measuring instrument and the function generator is a signal source. A series rc circuit include a resistor and a capacitor was conducted to analyze the effects on voltage by alternating frequency of the function generator from 1khz to 10khz. Measured experimental values then compared with theoretical values simulated in. Graphs of vo against frequency and phases against frequency were.
