(borrowing styles, food, sound. homogenizing cultural experiences) Social: lives are interrelated. something that happens to groups somewhere else increasingly affects us. Social inequalities affect those everywhere. social processes/experiences that may be different but are related. Environmental: activities of some are affected by others. Global warming is caused by everyone everywhere. happens somewhere, impacts felt elsewhere. Involved trade routes and infrastructure (tools, roads, taxing system, military involvement) Minisystems: geographically more contained because of the lack of technology. World-empire: group of mini systems, form of reciprocal trades and tax systems.
