Law is the expression of the general will. November 1789: all church properly is taken by the national assembly, no longer the property of catholic but the property of france. December 1789: france is reorganized, in department equal in size and gets rid of all provincial boundaries, france is now a new country, with the new forms of governmance making a constitutional monarchy. 1790-1791: things get messy, spring of 1790, the pope condemes the french constitution and should not be there and runs counter to gods will. The revolution radicalizes: france is at war of with france and gaussian, by sept 1792 louis the xvi is no longer the monarch and is killed in 1793 january 21st.
