Labour party in britain campaigned on a universal health care program. Huge increase in the university system in britain, to provide education for the returning soldiers and other working class individuals. Social democracy every welfare state had different aspects designed to conform to that states cultural preferences. The nordic states are more socialistic than other european areas. Welfare expansion followed the boom of the economy in the 1960s.
