It results in watery diarrhoea, and no fever. Bacterial virulence factors allow binding and invasion. Toxin release destroy the cells which will result in bloody stools. Diarrhea with invasion of lymph nodes and bloodstream. Abdominal pain with diarrhoea containing white and red cells. Results in a fever, headache, and an increase white cell count.
