Non-self if an anigen recognizes itself bad things can happen. Anibody: ig produced in response to simulaion by an anigen and reacing speciically with it. Constant and variable region variable region is responsible for anigen recogniion. Igg: host defense, crosses placenta and protects newborn. Iga: host defense, dimer, found in secreions (tears, saliva) Ab producion triggered on irst anigen introducion.
