Unemployment occurs when a person who is not working for pay is unable to secure a position despite actively seeking a paid job. Underemployment occurs when a person is involuntarily working part-time rather than full- time or is a low-wage worker whose earnings are below the local poverty level even after working long hours. Being unemployed or underemployed can be detrimental to mental and physical health status. Sdg goal 10 aims to reduce inequality within and among countries. Prejudice is a perception about an individual based solely on preconceived notions about sociocultural group to which most persons belongs. Discrimination encompasses the actions taken against an individual because of that person"s membership in a sociocultural group.
