Developmental requisites (depending on what stage of development you are in you are able to achieve the universal health care requisites) Health deviation requisites (due to a health situation, the person is not able to meet some of the requisites) To determine if a person is able to achieve health and well being you have to determine is they are able to meet the universal self-care requisites. Theory of self-care deficit 3 possible situations: no deficit (no need for nursing) Self-care agency is larger than the therapeutic self-care demand so you have no deficit and are able to achieve all required requisites: partial deficit. You have a self-care agency but it is below what allows you to achieve therapeutic self-care demand. If you have surgery, you will be taken care of by depending on: complete deficit the health care system. You have no self-care agency so your therapeutic self-care demand is very high and self-care ability is severely compromised.
