The basic structure of logic: argument - a set of statements where on (conclusion) is supported by others (premises, a good argument is sound (cogent) Complex arguments: complex arguments - an argument with at least one intermediate conclusion. Intermediate conclusion - a statement that is both a premise and a conclusion. If its raining, you should bring an umbrella: you should bring your umbrella .
