Character traits people exemplify when they act a certain way. Motives - you can find different morals. Ex: woman on a bus with 3 kids - christmas time -- people move for her to sit down - they all do the same thing- but could their motives and morals be different. Visibly tired - what is my responsibility to do, i"m not as tired --> for second person - not sentivtiv e to care etc. But to moral rules - self conscientiousness about responsibility and duty. Act and effect is the same as the other two but the motive is different from the other 2 passengers. The first 2 people consequentialism and deontology respectively. Person concerned to acting out of moral principle - conscientiensess. Admirable vs non admirable examples of actions and characteristics of people etc. Very old - older than c and d. Virtues and vices --- not as much in the forefront in the early 19th is century.
