Abortion abortion by choice, not because of medical issues etc. It is up to the mother; this is the core of the issue. There are many issues; ethical issues, political issues, legal issues. Personhood is related to how we conceive what a human person is. We see common fallacies between different nations in regards to abortions. Women have been given the burden of taking care of the child and sacrifice career and suffer prejudice etc. (not hire women because risk of pregnancy). Unjust society women rights; because of the right to abortion. Finnis: one-cell zygote has the capacity for supporting human functions in their genes, this is much like how we have the capacity to speak tibetan or icelandic but we lack the ability to do so. Human embryos already have the biological capacity appropriate to supporting human operations such as self-conscious, rationality and choice.
