When discussion canada and multinationalism or multiculturalism it is important to. 8588968 understand what each of those are and what the differences are between them. Multinationalism is a sovereign state that comprises of multiple nations. A nation is a group of people that are united together by history, language or common decent. In comparison multiculturalism is the unification of people with different common decent or language or history. When looking at canadian history i would argue that there were different nations, that of the french and english and aboriginal. French canadians have a different language, decent, and history, which is embedded in canadian history and future. This nation has had an influence on canada as a whole, for example quebec has always had an important role in government due to the fact that they could easily separate form canada, for example with the roman. Catholic education they had quite a bit of power in comparison to the other provinces.
