Thought psychoanalysis and behaviourism gave a limited view of human beings. Focus was free choice, free will, self determination, achieving potential. Psych cannot be a complete science without the study of mental processes. Multiple perspectives: each perspective covers psych. All are needed to have a fuller understanding of psych.
