Including psychological traits and characteristics: as well as the activities appropriate to men or women, always present in any society but vary widely between cultures. In regency era, nobles controlled society which was based mainly on agriculture and shops. Idea that men had 1 sphere, and women had another: women"s sphere was at home. The cult of true womanhood came out of the doctrine of 2 spheres. They must be dazzled with virtue: submissiveness, women were weak, dependent, and timid, men must never be weak, they always had to be strong, wise and forceful, men should also never be sensitive, chicks hate that.
