Involves going to different societies to see what people believe and to, their explanations and justi cations, and how their systems work. Always a tendency to be ethnocentric: using your own society/culture as a point of reference and judging others against yourself. Believing your own culture is the better way. All societies and cultures regulate sexual expression in some way. Usually some societal control over acceptability of sexual and marital partners, and extramarital relations.
