Cognitive Aging !
-TOT= top f the tongue, may happen more often as we grow older !

scores increase !

Prospective Memory

-event based: when certain event occurs, perform task !

-time based: after certain amount of time, perform speciļ¬c task!
-in 20 min. take casserole out of oven!
-time baed = more diļ¬cult but you can make it event based!
Why are cog. aging eļ¬ects often not noticeable in real life?!
-few situations require performance at max. levels!
-lab studies often push ppl with diļ¬cult tasks!
-gist vs. detail in memory!
-in real life, we can rely on habit (ex: same pill every day at breakfast..)!
