Presence of biological family member with sli increases chances for sli o: sli = specific language impairment, another indication that something is going on genetically, heritability was very high for a unique language disorder in a specific family. Compared the family members who had the disorder and those who did not o. There was a difference in this gene o. Certain family members had this one disorder on this one gene o. Problem: however this gene is in other animals, and those animals don"t have language o. This one gene cannot be all of language, although it is tied to language o. It"s a piece of the puzzle , but language is too complex to be just one gene o. Big 3: reference, intentionality ever existed (not just that one apple and then it"s gone)
