Generalized = all personal info from the past is lost ( hollywood type; remember date & president but nothing personal) Continuous = all personal info from a certain point in the past one year prevalence of around 1-2% but many differential diagnoses (seizures!!! Ptsd, neurocognitive disorders, substance abuse, factitious disorder, malingering, >prevalence of dissociative future is known to increase during times of stress (war & natural disaster); lifetime prevalence of not a diagnosis; ppl can be induced to believe things that didn"t happen. Tbj intention of doing something bc its voluntary > this area differs part of the brain for checking whether or not action feels voluntary differs.
