Slide 6 role of test in affective disorders. Test banned but they still use them for athletic performance. Interviews with perps, they saw steroid abuse linking behave to steroid abuse. Some studies show that there is mood change and cog impairment in those who abuse steroids. So there is a link between androgen and affective disorders. Changes in behave and feelings in women changes in steroid concentrations. In women who experience it, there is no real difference in hor(cid:373)o(cid:374)e (cid:272)o(cid:374)(cid:272)e(cid:374)tratio(cid:374), it"s the (cid:272)y(cid:272)i(cid:374)g/(cid:272)ha(cid:374)ges that so(cid:373)e (cid:449)o(cid:373)e(cid:374) are (cid:373)ore se(cid:374)siti(cid:448)e to a(cid:374)d (cid:449)ill the(cid:374) display symptoms. Why susceptible we are not evolved to experience as many cycles as we do today. We found ways to engage in sex but not get pregnant. We can have them every 3 months with continuous use better mood if prolonged.
