Easily frustrated if a toy falls over. Object focused play vs person focused play. No case is the same (only similar symptoms) Neurocognitive disorders not just a behavioural disorder. Functional deficits problems that are secondary to symptoms that create difficulties in the person"s daily functions. Teens addiction risks, relationship problems, mood problems, school failure etc. Adhd symptoms, especially inattention, predict concurrent and later school achievement. Inattention reported by teachers in kindergarten poor reading in grade 5 (very strong correlation) Inattention very easily distracted (by everything), poor retaining. They don"t act out or cause problems in class, meaning teachers don"t flag them. Lots of cases slip through the cracks until much later because of the lack of disruptive behaviours. Medications treat the symptoms but require overall treatment.
