Babies alter their pitch and volume depending on how urgent their need for help is. The more needy the baby, the louder the sound it produces. From the moment were born it"s the energy from food that keeps us alive. Our appetites were formed in a time where an abundant food was simply unimaginable. Those who prey food that is high is calories survived. Those ancestors who craved calorie rich foods survived and passed on their genes to their children. It passed on from generation to generation and it is embedded in all of us today. Instincts such as spitting out bitter tasting foods can lead to survival. The human tongues basic function is to tell us what"s good for us and what"s bad for us.
