(culture, family, diet, food, what environment you live in, etc. ) Both nature and nurture contribute to who we are. There is an interaction between nature and nurture. Nature puts a limit on how far a child can succeed in life, as does nurture. (genetic defects or malnutrition respectively). The nature component: genes: our biological blueprint, evolutionary psychology, genes: our biological blueprint. Our body is made up of trillion cells. In every cell except the sperm/egg cells there is 46 chromosomes. They carry it in the form of dna. Dna carries a number of different things, including genes. Genes are considered to be the basic unit of heredity. Genes carry the instructions that give the organisms it s characteristics and structure.
