A person may look like a gender but not identify as it. don"t assume, and ask (name, pronouns) Sex is between your legs (body); gender is between your ears. More flexibility for female to males than for males to females. Gnc (inside a cloud), this is what is emerging (gender non-conforming); dynamic (example: i like football, beer and trucks 1 day, and tomorrow i like ballet, pink etc. : freedom to move around. Kinsey scale: binary, either/ or, on a continuum scale with 2 extremes. Or heterosexual is one scale, and homosexual is another scale (both separate and can place yourself on either or- not so binary, more flexible) The cloud image is great for orientation too. Hard to describe your gender without using gender stereotypes: a man who loves lots of girly things is still a man. Super tough for a transperson to explain their identities to others. People are confused/ don"t know what to ask.
