You can appreciate difference but don"t get into extreme moral relativism. Accept that there are difference but you don"t have to accept them all, ex: accept that there are different languages and cultures but do not except violence or the treatment of people in undignified ways. Will search for higher truths but will not negotiate anything that permits violence. Support pluralism as long as its not violent. Accept differences but do not impose upon them. The key ingredient: your global concern, acceptance that we are all responsible for the global community. You have to be tolerant because you have to recognise that as human beings you will be fallible (you will make mistakes) Generally promote things that improve the quality of life, like free health care.
