Zelig is the ultimate conformist hast to blend in. All known societies have divided society and gender terms. When baby is born typical questions we ask is, is it a boy or a girl. Or if they are pregnant we ask if they want a boy or a girl or what they prefer. News headline where a family did not reveal gender of baby to outsiders or even to child itself letting him decide on his own. Caused a lot of discussion among the public alot of comments were negative saying you and maybe mess with gender but don"t mess with sex. We learn through the socialization process according to gender roles. There are set behaviours and roles attached to a sex. Through this process we develop a gender identity this is something we learn at an early age it"s what gender we identify with.
