What goods are being produced, at what rate, at what cost, and how they"re distributed in society. Social organizaion, impacts and interacions of the producion, exchange, etc. Sociologists do not focus on a single insituion; the study of power transcends the topic of government. Prof has power over students due to the insituion. For each there is a corresponding specialized sociology. Sociology of sociology-studies the historically lost voices of the discipline, and how they helped shape it.
