Paraphilia: paraphilia"s are not part of normal sexuality activity. Involve recurrent intense sexually arousing fantasies, urges, or behavior. Lasting a least six months and can be distressing or problematic to the person. Involve objects, non-consistent partners, or physical pain or humiliation. Usually develop during adolescence and frequently show life- long patterns. As basic as heterosexual, bisexual, homosexual, gender orientation, trans, metro, next level: monogamy, polyandry. Males - have more interest in sex: males are encourages to initiate sex, experiment, and enjoy sex without emotional connection. Females - the connection between sex and intimacy is paramount: females are taught to view sex within the context of a loving relationship. Females also have negative associations with sex (guilt, shame, fear of pregnancy). Female sexuality is more shaped by culture and situational factors. Sadist: a person who obtains sexual satisfaction from inflicting pain on another person. Masochist: a person who obtains sexual satisfaction from experiencing pain (or humiliation).
