After this, they realized that dean had a condition where his blood would not clot. The parents were charged with involuntary manslaughter and endangering the welfare of the child. Dyan: she believed that any illness makes a person seem imperfect because god makes perfect people. She is even more persuaded of her outlook as a result of what happened. Rick: his religious outlook continued to be meaningful to him because his growth went away.
