From hero to zero, zero to hero: ii. Many love him because of his human relatedness however he in a way pushes the limits of how relatable he can get. Specifically city specific heroes became popularized by theatric presentations/dramatic purposes. Dramatic presentations was the center of religious festivals. Athens became the hub for the dramatic arts. City specific heroes became introduced to the rest of greece though dramatic performances giving them the opportunity to become pan-hellenic heroes. It became a platform for past and present current events (history, politics, gender norms, etc. ) Relatable to many due to the common themes they were broken down into. Tragedy sad ending usually with death. Comedy not necessarily funny but does not have such a tragic ending, does not mean it cannot be sad (athenian) tragedy. More than just a poem to be recited but a song to be sung and reenacted over and over again. Thousands existed but only about 33 exist today!
