Document Summary

In every normal process, something can go wrong. The offspring can be viable (able to survive outside of the womb) or unviable and die. If we know the factors and we know how to study the factors, we can come up with therapies to treat the disease before the fetus is born. Embryo cannot be created without two gametes. Human development begins when an oocyte (ovum) from the female is fertilized by the sperm of a male. These gametes, from female are called oocytes, male sperm. Both male and female sex cells have to be converted genetically and phenotypically to let them function for fertilization. They need to be transported from the gonads. Fertilized ovum needs to travel and implant in the uterus without there there is no pregnancy. Cell division: one cell has to divide to have larger number of cells. Cell rearrangement : cells rearrange to form organs (liver).
