Hold burette with two hands, rotate it to cover water in whole inner surface. Place it back on clamp and place waste beaker under tip. Drain most solution, turn stopcock, don"t drain all, leave tiny bit (prevention of bubbles) Can adjust nut on stopcock to make liquid run out faster or slower. Touch tip of burette to side of beaker. Clean with deionized water for total of 3 times. Clean burette with the solution you are using 3 times, a little differently. Lower burette to eye level, don"t pour things in over head. Place funnel at top of burette (after cleaning) Place small amount inside, lift the funnel a bit to let air in. Fill burette with solution, lower it over edge of bench.
