Most people live near us border, but a lot of canada"s water is being drained in the opposite direction. Human management of water is embedded in a social-ecological system. Recognition that nature doesn"t exist outside nature, they exist in a reciprocal relationship. When we consider water using a commons perspective: water is considered as a public good, we need it to survive, water is free, managed by local community. Commodity: we think of water as an economic good, full cost pricing, manager is the market.
