You may feel its obvious but wont do it unless god commands you: god commands x fact, you ought to do x norm/ought, if i owe you , you ought to pay it back. This is not correct b/c its built into it. Let"s suppose it is not needed till the end. Hume thought (# 1 example) that if you had the power to destroy the world you would not. Some connect it to altruism, but thast defined without right or wrong. There"s various reasons as to why altruism is evolved. Cost and benefit is one, but says nothing about motives.
