Fallacy of distorting or weakening an argument in the effort of discrediting it. It is the mischaracterizing of an argument during the presentation of it. P1) decriminalizing marijuana will create more good than harm in society. P2) we should do things that create more good things than harm. P1) decriminalizing marijuana will give users easy access to the drug.
