Self-serving definitions- the more broad the trait like honesty- you try the best to make the definitions fit your self to make yourself. Implication: feel better: self report is suspect- cannot trust self-report always, assuming that the client is reporting everything truly, cannot even trust your own bias. Who sees what: if other sees- like social reality theory- and you cannot- so blind spot.
