Gender: depends on your genetic makeup specifically on whether your sex chromosome is xx (female), Xy (male), or x, xxy, xxyy, and so on. Your sense of being male or female and playing masculine or feminine roles in ways defined as appropriate by your culture and society. The rejection of gender binaries: colloquially we don"t make a distinction as it is easier, usually binary. Identification with, or sense of belonging to a particular ex (biologically physically, socially: sense of belonging in a group and how you identify yourself. Ideologies: gender ideologies, set of ideas about what constitutes appropriate masculine and feminine roles and behaviours, heteronormativity, hold that heterosexuality is the normal sexual orientation, and assumes an alignment between biological sex, gender identity, and gender roles. 12: orientation is not as neat and tidy or as binary.
