Institutions are structures that regulate activities, and offer answers to the two questions. Different institutional frameworks will answer and guide us as to how things are to be done. Different institutional frameworks will answer and guide us to legitimize things. being a son or daughter entails us to act a certain way with our parents as opposed to our friends, a police officer, sibling, etc . being a student, adult, parent, etc there are certain roles and we act a certain way in our roles.
