You have a right to a safe workplace connected to. You are responsible for ensuring a safe workplace. Rules are created to prevent injuries or hazards. Rational choice theory, routine actuvutues theory, situation crime prevention. These new frameworks see crime as normal, as its going to happen. Not really about pathology or abnormality ie. not really about criminals acting out crimes. Crime is a risk the offender and the victim is activated. Is their anything the victim could have done to prevent the crime from hsppening. Vulnerable situtations and everyday routines >>beyond the state. A lot of these programs are outside the state and a whole bunch of insoitutions are involved in the program. Risk is the key way we frame things. Risk is a way to bring control to a situation. A way to guide our actions and decision making. Risk is a governmentality- a way we guid our conduct. The way we think about insitutions, our own behaviour.
