White women were helped in first wave feminism- what about the others. Exclude the ones who doesn"t fit a definition. Indigenous feminism have a problem with the concept of feminism. They wanted a decolonized society- a focus on in way in which political structure. Matricidal suffered the most of gender, equality does not work for indigenous people. Feminist category was challenging anti-foundational (poor, queer) feminism that propelled to white middle-class women. Over determination of gender in the context of feminism: race, class doesn"t appear. Feminism has the deconstruction of issues around gender and sex, therefore it shifted. Trans people don"t see feminism as a useful category. Feminist theory seen by queer as too foundational and not helpful in shifting boundaries.
