Is it clear if someone is a man or woman. It is difficult to simply say men or women. As researcher cannot assume certain categories at the end of the day, the person you survey has to tell you how they perceive themselves or certain categories. Why doing it = a statistic (1/10 women abused in canada) Why wanna do research = still doing it. Must be clear on what research is about. What is it about political, economic, and social violence. Work that has been topic on that topic. Do not choose outdated , not relevant article. Want to end violence in this world this is too broad of a goal. Gender inequality is social and economic challenge that manages gap between men and women. No country in the world has completed the gender gap. Northern countries have closed 80% of gender gap.
