Another classic african name that originated from the greek: there was no conception until very recent times about what we think about africa, people who lived further south from ethiopia had no name for africa, there was no concept of a continent, people only used clans and tribes as reference, when africans left the continent they began to see each other as the same, creating the idea of pan africanism, what we take for granted today, people in the past had a different way of seeing it, now theres a continental and diasporic reality. But why there? (why were they based in the desert: sign of cattle ancient rock drawings of cattle, sahara may have been green thousands of years ago dried up cause of climate change, therefore the sahara could have supported complex communities a long time ago, sign of pottery dug up by archeologies finely made by hand.
