In north america, people use earth worms as bate for fishing, which are not native to these areas. Earth worms have driven changes to floral communities: horses were brought to certain areas for horseback riding and agriculture, especially in cowboy type cultures, the cane toad was imported to australia because insects were feeding on crops. However, the species ate everything, while nothing ate them because they were poisonous. As a result, they"ve become an invasive species. Found on many of earth"s 179 000 islands. Cause of confirmed extinction of 33 species. In the usa, cats kill between 1. 4 to 3. 7 billion birds and 6. 9 to 20. 7 billion mammals annually. Replaces native mesopredators in urban environments: cats, dogs, and pets are used as tools, cats have been spread around the world. Secondly, over the last few centuries, humans have become the top predator on land and sea. No other species in the past can claim such distinction.
