Naneferkaptah in search of his magical scroll of thoth (messenger god of science and magic: they confront the mummies of naneferkaptah, ihweret (his wife) and merib (his child) Ihweret tells the story of her family to setna: flashback, the 2 siblings want to marry each other; however, the father says that they will marry children of other rulers. Ihweret is sad but eventually agrees: however, the pharaoh changes his mind and allows the two to marry each other. The two become married that night and consummate. In the 4th hall people were braiding rope and the hungry were being teased with food hung over their heads. In the 5th hall, noble spirits stood in ranks as those accused of violence begged to be let in at the door. In the 6th hall, the gods and council remained (all dead people).
