Re-assembling pangea: mercantilism: is global trade using maps of what the earth looked like. Pangea", which means all lands": pangea consisted of laurasia (north. America and asia), and gondwana (southern countries): he proposed that the continents moved by plowing through the sea floor. He called this concept, continental drift: most geologists rejected his theory, however he started to reassemble pangea by matching rock types of the same age from one continent to another, rock types: are memories of ancient environments. The nature of the rocks reflects the environment in which they were deposited. Pangea is not a theory but in fact is real since the colder continents used to be connected to the warmer ones: the fossil records also matched up since the patterns also occurred on different continents. Glacier erratic boulders: are the boulders that moved from their original destination and path. For example, the ice sheets and boulders from labrador have moved to toronto.
