These different types of representations can be culturally specific but illustrate that one kind of blends into how landscapes and environment become gendered into different ways: 2 different types of ecofeminism: Women have a closer connection to nature and the environment because of their biological reproductive activities. Women are closer to nature and therefore are key stewards of natural environment. Rejection of some so-called biological connection to nature. Says that oppression of nature and women emerges from capitalist patriarchy. Capitalist relations of production exploit both women and resources.
