There"s no universal measure that tells us about life of all over the world. Life expectancy is the general time an individual is expected to live including death rates, and birth rates. If mortality rates stay constant, at birth, how long is an individual expected to live. Habitat can seriously affect an individual"s life expectancy. G7 countries: canada, usa, uk, germany, france, italy, japan. Women typically have a higher life expectancy compared to men. Although it ranges with the highest life expectancy in the country several factors play a role: sex and neighbourhood income, sex alone- women will always live longer. Pink tie jobs such as nursing is more popular in women and it involves a lot of physical activity. Men are more in stereotypical jobs, more dangerous: indigenous peoples, birth weight. Being born at a low birthweight results in both long term and short term conditions -this will be discussed more as the course continues.
